Wobbly Wonders: When Will My Baby Sit Up?

That's the million-dollar question for many new parents! Figuring out when your little one will hit the sitting-up milestone is exciting. Generally, babies start sitting with support around 4-7 months. Think of it as a gradual process. Initially, they'll need your help, maybe propped up with pillows or your hands.

Around 6-8 months, many babies begin sitting independently for short periods. They might wobble and topple over, but that's part of the learning process! By 9 months, most babies can sit confidently without support, freeing up their hands for playing and exploring the world around them.

Remember, every baby develops at their own pace. If you have concerns, chat with your pediatrician. Celebrate each wobbly sit – it's a big step towards independence!
