Countdown Mode: What's Happening at 38 Weeks Pregnant?

Congratulations, mama! You've officially hit 38 weeks pregnant! The finish line is so close you can practically taste it (maybe that's just pregnancy cravings, though!). At this stage, baby is likely around the size of a cantaloupe and continuing to pack on those final ounces.

**What's baby up to?** Your little one is mostly getting ready for birth. Their lungs are maturing, and they're ideally head-down, preparing for their grand entrance. You might notice decreased movement, which is normal as space is limited. However, you should still feel regular kicks and jabs. If you're concerned about reduced movement, contact your doctor immediately.

**What about you?** Expect more Braxton Hicks contractions – your body's practice runs for labor. You might also experience increased pressure in your pelvis, fatigue, and that 'nesting' instinct kicking into high gear. Listen to your body, rest when you can, and keep those hospital bags packed! These next few weeks are all about patience and preparing for the beautiful journey ahead. You've got this!
