Tumbling Time! When Do Babies *Really* Roll Over?

You're eagerly awaiting that first roll! So, when do babies typically start this adorable milestone? Most babies begin rolling from tummy to back around **4-6 months**. Rolling from back to tummy usually follows a bit later, around **5-7 months**, as it requires more neck and arm strength.

Remember, every baby develops at their own pace. Don't panic if your little one isn't rolling exactly within these timeframes. Focus on providing plenty of tummy time from day one. This helps them build the necessary muscles. Place engaging toys slightly out of reach to encourage them to stretch and reach.

Celebrate those small victories! A good push-up during tummy time is progress! If you have any concerns about your baby's development, chat with your pediatrician. Happy rolling!
