Unleash Your Inner Child: Mastering the Art of Ddakji!

Ever seen those satisfying *thwack* sounds in Korean dramas and wondered what's making them? It's ddakji, a classic Korean paper game! Think of it as a paper-based version of Pogs. Learning how to make ddakji is surprisingly easy, and it's a fantastic way to impress your friends and unleash your inner child.

All you need are two square pieces of paper (cardstock works best for durability). Simply fold each square in half, then in half again. This will give you a smaller square with four layers. Now, take one square and fold one of its corners to the center. Repeat for all four corners. You should now have something resembling an envelope.

Repeat this process for the second square. Next, carefully tuck the flaps of one ddakji into the flaps of the other. It might take a bit of wiggling and adjusting, but once they're locked together, you have a completed ddakji!

The goal of the game is to flip your opponent's ddakji over by slamming yours down on top of theirs. It's all about technique and a bit of luck. So grab some paper, start folding, and get ready to *thwack* your way to victory!
